I have a co-worker that was offered allot of money by some locals, for his
much beloved Integra GSR with the V-tec, they just wanted the motor and were
willing to pay 13k for it! Try to find one in a parts yard. ("junk yard" is
no longer PC.) They've become very expensive on the west coast.

The Honda has a 9000 RPM redline, but how long will
that engine last at those speeds?

Actually I read somewhere that honda has yet to have a warranty claim on any

V-TEC engines, and they've been making them for years. They have to
engineer
them with so many precautions because of all of the moving parts and such.
