Question: Exhaust.

A couple of us were talking the other day about exhaust--I am getting ready 
to replace the big ugly cross muffler on  my '79 Midget with a short Glass 
pack in the place of the resonator.   I was wondering--has anybody ever tried 
to put a dual exhaust system on one of these cars?  Would there be any 
advantage to doing so on an engine this small?  If one were to do this, which 
two cylinders would be grouped together?  Any reply will be consumed and 
appreciated!!
