Hmmm, good point..I've just checked an old set of doors - so, how do, and where
do they attach?

I will send you my check straps if someone else on the list tells me two things:
1. How the hell do I get mine out of the door.
2. And, anyone remember the thread (someone hates that term) how do you make new
ones
out of leather.
