As I understand it all the "new" Lucas stuff is made in India by ACE. I got
a "new" voltage regulator in it's sealed factory Lucas box that was exactly
the same as the Ace one I had, at three times the cost. So much for
original factory replacement parts. I've never had a problem with Standard
Motor Products brand parts.
