I was waiting for someone to mention it.  It is really a new DOT 4 fluid.  
You would think it would be a suset of DOT 5, but it isn't silicone at all.

That is, in-line brake light switches.  My '77 Midget has a brake light 
switch on the pedal.  Earlier cars had them in the fluid line.
