My take, and I'm sure no one cares, but here goes.
a) gas is way too cheap.
b) double the price at least, with the increase going _directly_ to mass
transit and population center redesign.
c) I am against social engineering by taxation, but I see no other way.
I make my living on cars but, there are way too many of the wrong kind
being made and bought. There needs to be some enlightening and awareness of
the consequences of self-interest.
There are no simple answers.
