Has anyone answered from the Spitfires list and not posted to the Spridgets
list?
The ratios in the Triumph box are slightly wider (bad) than the Midget box.
I would guess the Triumph box will fit because the variant with the overdrive
bolts up ok other than modifying the tunnel and prop to accommodate the
overdrive.
I know that on some boxes the position of reverse can be varied on the gate
so having reverse in a different place does not necessarily mean the box is a
different box at all (Some 4 speed Ford boxes come to mind).
