POR-15 sells engine enamel in pint cans, I think it is. They have several
colors including Austin green, the color I think you are looking for. I
have had success also using mixed synthetic enamel from my local NAPA
store; I got a paint code from a restoration manual on my MGA and was able
to translate it to the Martin Senour code. But even another variation, if
you have a sample of the right color, is to go to a specialized auto body
paint/material/equipment supplier and they can computer match your color
and mix it in your choice of blends.
I have found that engine heat for the most part will not harm an enamel
coating. Racing demands might be a little tougher, though. I haven't had
experience with that.
