Well most of them anyway, I don't remember it ever falling out of the 
car. 

Although When I was younger and dumberI was taking the starter out of a 
67 Firebird 400 and didn't disconnct the battery first and the housing 
and the wire came in proximity and somehow my finger was in between the 
bell housing and the spinning starter. Blood everywhere!!!! I didn't 
realize the edge of the bell housing was that sharp.  Luckily I still 
have my finger tho. Now I never - ever touch a starter w/o disconnecting 
the What??? Boys and girls???
