I have one with a 10-second memory and it's okay for normal roads in normal
cars. It is more likely to skip (but rarely) in my Bugeye but I do need
suspension work. I think that longer memory is needed if you want to take it
with you on a power walk.
I installed a power outlet under the dash of my Bugeye so I could plug it in
for longer drives.
