This is becaue the ratios are not as close which is why I prefer the Ford box
because it can run Helical cut close ratios gears.
However, it is possible to have a set of helical cut close ratio gears made
for any box - they just need some designing. I suspect if the demand existed
this would be possible for the Datsun box.
