Transmission I.D.

I will shortly begin disassembly of the Bugeye transmission for a
complete overhaul, so that part will be ready when the Bugeye gets back
fom the metal and paint works. I know that the transmission is not
original, it's a ribcase, but that's all I know as far as the model. The
number stamped on it is 22G671, Then below that it reads, VAF2. How do I
use these numbers to find the information that I am going to need to
order parts?
