As my last few posts have mentioned, I'm looking for more cooling to deal
with the hot summer temperatures here in California's central valley.

I have heard of using a Suzuki Swift aluminum radiator and the Geo Metro
aluminum radiator. Over the last few weeks, I've checked out the Pick and
Pull yards and have only been able to find very cheap plastic radiators in
these two models. What's the deal? Do they come with nice aluminum
radiators every else but in California? Do we have a state law against good
radiators? Perhaps the softer collisions with plastic front parts prevents
excessive spilling of one's Latte in a collision?

Seriously, does anyone know of a good radiator that will fit a bugeye? I
would like to mount the bottom edge forward like the downflow, and tilt it
so the upper edge ends up where the top of the crossflow would be. This
would allow a radiator significantly taller (about 4") than either the down
or cross flow. Near as I can tell, it should be no wider that 16.5" and no
taller than 16.5" total. I'm able to deal with inlets and outlets being
wherever they happen to be, and will make appropriate ducting to suit.

Thanks to all..
