My boyfriend drives his B in the snow with the top down when it first snows
here! And I've only had my Bugeye for about a week and I've already driven
in the rain twice. (The first time 'cause I didn't know how to put the top
up yet) As long as it's not pouring you should be fine. Actually with the
30+ days of 90 degree weather here in Colorado have made driving in the rain
an absolutely wonderful experience. Enjoy it while it lasts, it'll snow
before you know it. And if you must grab a poncho. You can get a cheepie
for about $1 at any sporting goods store, and they should work just as well
as your top! ;-)
Am I the only person here missing out on driving his/her MG this summer
because of the rain? Here I am in August, and I could not even guess the
last
time I drove my MG. It's either always raining, I'm out of town, it's too
humid, etc, for me to enjoy the car. What makes matters worse is that this
is
my first full summer with the car.
Not like I had a great start either. Being psyched about just having the car
tuned up, the car died on my way to my first club event of the year-culprit
was a shot clutch slave cylinder, and then after that it was discovered the
tie rods were totally shot and needed to be replaced. And so, here I sit,
and
it's pouring outside, and the weather forecast keeps calling for more of the
wet stuff, my beloved car collects dust in the gargage.
UGH! Anyone else having as great a summer as me?
