Bill

There is an adjustable potentiometer (sp) inside the tach, if you remove
the tach from the housing then re-hook it up to the car including a good
ground, you can use a thin screw driver and turn the potentiometer ever
so S-l-o-w-l-y one way or another to reset it. You will need a
tach/dwell gauge to set it exactly or just set it by "feel" to what you
think is close.
Tech tip on this is to drill a hole in the housing inline with the slot
in the potentiometer so you can adjust it in the future with out
removing the guts from the housing.
