Speaking of local shows, the Austin-Healey Sports and Touring Club's annual
Encounter starts this Wednesday night. This year it is being held in
Valley Forge at the Park Ridge Sheraton.
Saturday, 19th, is the Funkhana and Car Show. Holly and I designed this
year's Funkhana(with help from others) and it's based on Ben Franklin's
inventions. That takes place in the morning and the car show is in the
afternoon.
This may be the best attended Encounter yet. I think we have about 96
Healey's signed up, including a Healey boat and two 100S's. A special
Healey show car will also be present(a few of us are going to pick it up on
Sunday) and a Healey-Elliot(sp?) will also be there!
