It was televised live on Speedvision and probably will be rebroadcast. If
you don't have on your system, lobby for it!
The earth is again in alignment this year in HP. The dreaded Japanese tin
top was gridded second, but either his times got disallowed or he was late
for the grid. So he started last and blew up early on. A MG Midget from NH
finished first and a couple of Bugeyes finished 2nd and 3rd. It was cold,
cold and wet. On Sunday, I watched the first race from the hill and said "
I don't have to be this cold and miserable" so I left and went home. I
watched the last three races on Speedvision. The GT4 I helped on finished
3rd (first in Toyota class) The driver said that he was 2 car lengths from
the Nissans at the beginning of the straight and 12 car lengths at the end
of the straight. It is a very well prepared car, so gobs of HP are not
forth coming.
