I have been tossing around this idea myself, as the dash on my Midget is
pretty good, but not great. Top of dash is cracked, but could be fixed with
a cap. But the padded area in front of the passenger has some cracks too.
Not too big, and not really very noticable at first glance, but they are
there. Any chance of posting some pics of what your friends dash looks like?
