That little knurled knob usually works.  Just keep in mind there are, if I
recall correctly, 16 clicks to move the timing one degree!  They have even
cast into the dist. body a double headed arrow with an "A" and an "R" so
you know which way to spend the rest of the day turning the knob!!

Mine doesn't either!  Think those are like those fake buttons pedestrians 
stand around and push at city intersections in a futile attempt to make the
