This sounds like the old Toyota kit that either uses a bellhousing cast in
Australia or a special backplate made by Frontline in the UK.
I think you have to ask yourself: Why did Frontline switch to a Ford based
kit? and Can you get spares for the Toyota box when it needs a rebuild?
What is the availability of the Toyota box?
In my opinion you get what you pay for. YMMV
