In my ever decreasing dexterity. I mannaged to snap off the starter mount
entirely off the back plate.

Since I haven't done any real 5 speed research yet (only what if research)
do any of the 5 speed kits replace that back plate? I have heard that the
rear engine seal can be a pain to deal with, and it is better to leave it
alone.
I have another back plate... I wonder if I should swap them out for the time
being.
