I remember reading about the preparation of the racing AH 3000 owned by the
late John Gott of England (SMO 746?). His car used wires, and they had to 
reverse the rear hubs, because of the inertia generated under braking. Seems 
that was greater than the similar effect generated while accelerating! The
spinners were less likely to run off then, but they were also wired.

Make sure you measure wire wheels. It's truly very easy to confuse an bare MGB
wire (14") for a Spridget item (13"). Don't ask......!
