Frank,
The PPO cut off the forward top piece of my bugeye's tunnel apparently to do
this.
I don't see how you could reach and subsequently lift out the very long bolts
that hold it on without this butcher cut.  Thank goodness for silicone
sealer and carpet.
I'd say "Ready the wench", I mean winch.
