hey!  i never said it was the perfect repair.  that would be, tear engine
and trans out and do the gear box overhaul routine .   but it is an
effective way to get done what frank asked about.  in a flat rate way!  btw,
does anyone remember the flat rate dealership method for doing jag.
clutches?   now that was scary!   it explains why there are so many nice
jags with hacked up floors in them though.   the dealership i worked at said
it was the way to do them!  eeeekkkkk!
