Hi Charles,

Glad to have you back home in one piece after a wierd drive home. High
profile vehicles in high gusty winds are sometimes shorts changing
frightening. This weekend in central Oregon an 18 wheeler was blown off
the US-97 bridge over the Columbia River in high winds. Not a nice act for
mother nature. Drive carefully.

Re: Re: Brake line kit.

k-d tool company wasbased out of lancaster pennsylvania and their
headquarters was located (visible along but not acessable from) along route
30 not far from york pa.. now they moved from that location. they always
had a discounted tool sale trailer that attended some of the car shows i
had
attended in the past. they also had tool racks in the local parts stores.
but for some reason all the local stores i can think of have gone from
selling k-d's line of specialty tools to a line called " lisle " . has k-d
gone out of business or merged with another company?
the "bubble flare " tool i have is from "old forge" tools and was sold to
me
by the mac tool guy. the tools are getting harder to find as certain
manufacturers are finding poor sales history in certain specialty tools.
this sales history equates to their decision making process in deleting a
product from a line. i never bothered to find the source of manufacture
of
the tools that are being sold by any of the restoration supliers. but rest
assured they are keeping at least one manufacturer in production by regular
orders of enough quantity to show viable sales history over a reasonable
period of time.
once you own a complete set of flaring ( single, double, and bubble) tools
you will sit and wonder how you ever were able to survive without them!

chuck.
back from williamsburg va.. a weekend i would have rather not have had.
weather was just impossible! and sunday's drive home in high winds in a
high
profile vehicle was just frightening at times let alone the thunder storms
down south and snow showers north of philly! what a woerd day! glad to
be
home again in one piece!....... :)
