Remember I asked for ideas on what could make my Subaru hesitate on
accelerating between 1200 and 1700 RPMs? Couldn't find any air/fuel leaks.
Ran several bottles of fuel injector cleaner through the car. Plugs wires
ok for resistance. Took it to a shop and had them check it out. They
tested everything and said it was all good and said they wanted to replace
plugs and wires. I told them I had replaced them a year ago and only had
between 5 and 10K on them. They replaced the plugs anyway and the problem
seems to have disappeared. Other than checking the gap and making sure they
actually spark, how can you test plugs? Things that make you go hmmmm.
