Big roundabout on the final approach to work. Used to hit it as fast as
possible to see how close I could get to losing the car. Big rut in the
road half way round. Would hit the rut in mid (hard) turn, the tyres would
lose contact with the ground and would spring back sideways to a neutral
position under the car, instead of the previous second when the outboard
tyre was nearly touching the inner rear wing due to flexing of the springs
in a sideways fashion. This was where the car would always come unstuck.
Nice wide road with little traffic and plenty of room to get the car back.

Fitted panhard rod. Now the axle doesn't move sideways under the car. The
tyres stay a fixed distance away from the inner wings (+/- a few millimetres
due to geometry) and when the car hits the rut, it lands in a much more
controlled manner. Biggest-gain-for-least-cash I've ever had.
Bought it second-hand from Tim Fenna (Frontline)
