You are thinking of the HMC Mark IV - it's the only "big Healey" I know of
currently in production. I saw one at Clive Sutton's in London a few years
ago - it was georgous. See http://www.hmcsportscars.com/

Sorry that I don't remember the details, but someone is already building a
new healey. I remembered reading the plans a few years back, and they said
it would only happen if they could get Jeff(?) Healey's blessing. Aparently
they did and the car is being built and looks essentially the same as a
3000. the company doing it is a three letter name, the first letter being H
if I recall correctly. They make a normal version and a lightweight
version, that is without top, wingdows, gadgetry, and has only a racing
screen on front. Someone in the UK could probably fill in the blanks.

A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have
evolved from a simpler system that worked just fine.
