Ulix -

I have to admit, I never before considered the possibility of earthquake
as a reason to to make sure you set your jackstands up carefully!  :-) 
I hear that the damage to people was relatively minor (not that many
injuries, no fatalities).  And that's put of a 6.9 quake.  Either you
folks were lucky, or your architectural review board is pretty on the
ball!
