My GF was in Alaska and returning home on Wed. She was stuck in Anchorage
for several hours before deciding to go back to Fairbanks for a day. Seems
the quake had knocked out the control tower at Sea-Tac. No flights, no
flights out. And way too many folks still in the air and needing to get on
the ground to allow rerouting. Finally got here EARLY Fri AM after the
redeye out of Seattle.
