The green wire goes to the push on spade.
A white wire from the ignition switch makes a loop around a "U" shaped
terminal screwed to the tach.
This loop then goes to the switch side (SW on + grd cars) of the coil.
And a good ground.
So as for 3 wires, 1 is really a loop around that screw on connector.
