Bug eye body numbers

Can a few good bugeye souls check to see if their BAE number on
the R/S door pillar tag is the same as the large font number
stamped on R/S inner fender area near the firewall?

Horler book says they are both body numbers. Are they supposed to
be exactly the same? Mine are not, but close.

And as expected the chassis number (VIN) is different again, along
with a non concurring engine number. So right now I have 4
different numbers all within a 200 range.
