Fuel Cells

The fuel tank on my Midget is badly dented on the bottom. I have no idea
how it got that way and have layed under the car many times trying to
figure out what it hit to get into the shape its in.
So its time to replace it with a stock one or with a fuel cell if they are
available or affordable. Any suggestions where to purchase a new stock
one? M$$s has them marked n/a in the latest catalogue I have. Do those of
you who race Spridgets use fuel cells? Source? Cost? Are you able to
offset the cell to the right a bit (assuming LHD) for weight distribution?

Also, one of the local LBC shops has just acquired a dyno and I am going to
have my car run on it to see where improvements might be made. I'm
thinking mainly in terms of timing and carburation issues. Does anybody
know what range the stock '72 1275 horse power at the rear wheels was in?
My engine is worked over a little from stock and I'm curious to see what
difference my modifications made.

Thanks
Dave
