I have a POS 89 Nissan that has a cable clutch.  It requires much less
pressure than my midget.  When I go from the Midget to the Nissan for
the first couple of miles I nearly put the clutch pedal through the
floor.

As for how well it works, 11 years, 125K miles, no clutches, no
cables.  Seems to work well.  The Nissan is a steaming pile, IMHO.
