Ok since we have a good discussion on head studs going I'll add this to the
discussion. I bought new studs from VB well one broke at 30#'s, so I
ordered another set from moss, well 2 stretched and the other snapped. This
happened last night, Friday 13th, I guess. So here is the question.
Where do I get a good QUALITY stud (for my engine)?
Is there anything that fits another car that I could possibly purchase at my
local auto store. I hate waiting a week each time they break.
I torque them to 42#, and I'm using a quality torque wrench.
