larry,
i had a "lucas" tar top battery in my bugeye for show purposes from them .
it lasted 6 years. no leaks and started my car evry time untill a cell went
bad. i also have used their reprodution delco battery in my restored 1967
impala that i show . that battery lasted 4 years before a cell went bad.
the price if their product i feel is high. but if concourse / restored is
what you are seeking they have the market . they have always been very
helpfull and decent to deal with as far as questions etc., as far as i'm
concerned. i'm sorry to hear you are experiencing problems.

chuck.
