Well no longer in shock. I also knew it was too good to be true. She thought
about it, seriously. But her needs out weighed her wants. Her Probe (96 GT)
has 150,000 miles. A used engine with 50,000 miles. She drives 35,000 a year
(don't ask). She needed a reliable car and her financial situations said New
Subaru Outback Sport only. She probably woulda got the B as well, except the
dealer wouldn't give her enough on the Probe.

So the B is still for sale. It is a Blaze 1980 MGB. Needs a paint job, new
rubber on the windscreen, and has a repaired "Crack of Doom" on the door.
However, this amazed me, absolutely NO RUST!!!! None, zero, zilch. All
original, including the air pump, which still turns. Runs great. We drove it
nearly 100 miles before returning it. Was garaged and part of an estate sale
which included a Packard and a Jag. Reg (Solentmg) also looked at it and
thought it was a keeper. Had I been in the market, I woulda bought it.
Overdrive works too. This car should go to a good home. So one of you all go
take a look. He has somebody looking at it on Monday.

The guy also has a 1972 RWA Midget, and he just got a 1980 MGB LE this AM.
The Midget is in good shape, but has funky carpet (not the stock kind). No
idea what the LE looks like, it wasn't there. The dealer has a TD, MGBGT and
a 80 MGB of his own.

I asked if I could give out his info and he handed me his card.

Open till 8PM most days.

BTW the 1980 Blaze MGB was $7900
the 1972 Tan Midget was $2700

(I think $6800 is a better price for the B, but what do I know, I am a
Midget driver ;-)

No financial interest, just passing on the info.

Now anybody want a nice 96 Ford Probe??

Larry

Boy do I wish she woulda bought that car - maybe next year, she said ;-)
