Crsh, mine wasn't a "war" when I got shot either; they called us
peacekeepers, don't even qualify for a purple heart, but got the scars
and pain anyway. So I know where you are coming from, somewhat. But
trials and sentences only work when dealing with civilized people.
Whoever did this wasn't civilized, and doesn't deserve to live. You
can't relate this to what Hitler did, the Jews didn't attack him. You
can relate it to what Hitler did to Britain, and how they fought back
tooth and nail until the power to hurt them was gone. Or how we hit
Japan with everything we had, so they couldn't kill our innocents
anymore. Has America really changed that much, that we now will accept
the deaths of thousands of our people to avoid a war? If that is true,
then I am ashamed of those who feel that way. As for fighting the war,
I was 18 when I went to fight the first time, and 34 the last time. If
my son has to fight to preserve our freedoms and keep innocents alive,
although I would fear for him, that is part of the price of life in this
free country. And if he refused to fight for it, I would be ashamed of
him.

We didn't start this mess folks. We weren't out there looking for a
fight, but it found us. Now we need to end it the right way. On our
feet as Americans.
