Yes, Jim-

You are missing something; your head!

Now don't get mad, I'm just kidding you,
OK?! I mean the opportunity was there
so I just hadda do it! No offense.

Downflows have fitting for thermo. plug
in radiator, crossflows use thermo fitting
in head (forward right side).

Thermo. probe from your gauge may not
match both ports in either case, so you
may be in for a new gauge, should this
be the case, in your case.

I have a downflow in my Bugeye but
prefer the fitting in the head as believe
this to be more accurate of real temp.
engine is really working with.

Subject: [midgetsprite] Crossflow Rad & Temp Sensor

I was looking at the crossflow radiator I have for my Bugeye project. Where
does the water temp sensor insert? Can't see it.

Am I missing the obvious or is there something I am missing?

TIA
