YEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAA I can finally drive the Sprite
I used the broken speedo cable roto rooter method to clean out the fuel pickup
line in the tank
After that I flushed, pressure washed and boiled out the tank
Gas tank on the barby REALLY works, you won't believe all the crud that comes
loose after about 30 minutes of boiling
I rinsed the tank and set it back on the barby for a few minutes to dry
While the tank was boiling , I worked on the sticking sending unit for the gas
gage
Put it all back together last night and went for a shakedown cruise and actually
got more than a mile from my house
It's still a work in process, but at least it's drivable
