Brad,

Maybe I got lucky, my bumper is rock solid.  I found my car in California,
bought it from a guy that had it in storage for 7 years, and I've kept it in
a garage for the past 11, so it doen't have hardly any rust on it.  I think
I'll be careful about towing it though, obviously it puts more stress on
that area.  Thanks for the tip.

Put your bumper back on and see if it will wobble up and down. If not, you

ok. Mine does, one hard bump and I now have paint scratched off on the front
wing corner...........
