I always thought the big concern was liability. Now it looks like
The Ed issue is really being decided by secret votes and by
subjective opinion.
If offending people is the criterion, then somebody has been
sleeping at the switch - never mind a long list of offending
candidates over the years, but only yesterday on the other list I
saw

I consider that your privilege - but on the other hand not
disclosing or fairly applying the rules of censorship could itself
