Feb '02 issue of Road and Track just did its first
complete road test. Mini was faster through the
slalom than any production Ferrari/Vette on ALL SEASON
tires. This was the 115HP base model, not the 163 hP
"S". They are supposed to be on sale in March, and
they are assembled in England. Bottom line, the
article said it has gobs of character, is 2.5 turns
lock-to-lock, felt like a go-kart and had the quality
of a Bimmer.
