ok,
here i go sticking out my neck.
i have a plating shop who does cadmium (bright silver color) cad and
color(yellow gold color) and phosphate (black finish) .
do you want a gold colored factory valve cover? all the bolts for your
suspension done to look bright shiney silver (cadmium)? all the under hood
hardware or brackets plated instead of painted? any custom stuff like a
gold colored iol pan? or silver looking bonnet or boot supports?here is
your chance!
here is the catch! i will be unable to give you estimates on pricing untill
i see how much i'm taking to the platers. they charge by the pound for
hardware (bolts and nuts ...like SU carb linkage and stuff)
the material must be cast iorn or steel. no aluminum or diecast .
preferably clean no rust or paint. i can glass bead stuff if you are
unable to prepare the stuff for the plating process but the platers can only
do as good a job as the piece they are presented to plate.
