Hi Cap'n
First, remember I did say turn the road wheel through FIVE full turns.

The maths is simple. If you use a 3.55 ratio diff it means that it
will take 3.55 turns of the pinion to rotate the crown wheel once.
Same as 3.55 turns of the prop shaft to rotate the wheel once. Leave
one wheel locked on the ground so it dosn't rotate.
The only reason for 5 full revolutions of the wheel is to make it
easier to check the number of turns of the prop shaft.
It is difficult with only one wheel rev. to distinguish betwee 3.7 and
3.9 turns of the prop.

So, for a 3.55 ratio, for 5 wheel turns prop will turn 3.55 X 5 =
17.75.
