Chas,

Brown is alway power source and usually unswitched from the fuse block and
volt reg. black is always ground. solid green is aux (switched) power,
usually from the fuse block. You'll need a schematic to trace down your
particulars, but they could be extras as there are no brown wires at the
ignition switch.
