1.  There are major frame rails that extend through the grill opening and
would need cut back out of the way in order to fit the chrome grill.
2.  The fenders (wings) have large square holes where bumper supports pass
through them.  they are much larger than the holes provided for turn signals
on  CB cars.
3.  If you do the front, and not the back, you'll have a chrome front
bumper and a black rubber back bumper, not cool IMHO.
4.  So to do the back to match, when you take the big black bumper off,
you'll find out that British Leyland chopped off the back of the car below
the tail lights to make that big black bumper fit.  With the small chrome
rear bumper mounted in its place, it just looks silly because the shape of
the body doesn't follow the shape of the chrome bumper.  There are also
"lumps" in the body where the black rear bumper mounts that look funny.

So, anything can be done, but it's not as simple as unbolt and swap.
