Who would ever remove a bugeye bonnet just to yank an engine?
No wonder it takes all weekend. It takes forever to r&r a bonnet, and it
takes 2 people.
But now that I have a forward tilt speedwell bonnet and had to yank the
engine since it's installation, I put a plug on the harness and shorter
bolts on the tilt bar. so I can remove the nose in about 5 minutes as
opposed to the 20 it took me the first time. But it's light, I can do
this myself. Floor jack gets the engine out.
