Hi Jim:

Sorry, don't have an answer for you on this, but I will point without pride
to my 6 month old Jeep and the decal on it's visor that I just noticed.
Something to the effect that the center of gravity is higher than in a normal
car, and therefore the driver should be careful about trying to turn too
quickly, particularly at high speed. If this is the fix for people turning
these things over, I bet it doesn't do a heck of a lot of good. I doubt that
the placement of a decal is going to do a thing to improve the driving habits
of the average person in the new car. BTW, the six-month delay in noticing
is not as bad as it seems--I seldom drive any more and the Jeep is not my
first choice.

Hope some smart person comes up with a real answer to your post. Looking at
the bright side, I don't remember anyone ever complaining that the steering
wheel broke off on one of these things. Maybe your 50 year old design isn't
so bad after all. But it would be nice if you could be sure it wouldn't
skewer you if you couldn't get down in time.
