Well, Ed-

Depends what your priorities are.

If they are strictly performance oriented,
than non-rubber is the way to go, whether
they be Nylatron, Delrin or Poly.

If, however, minimum wear and tear and
longevity of front end components is the
priority, along with quality of ride, then
stock busings would be best. I mean a
decent 3/4 swaybar will make all the
difference in the world with respect to
handlilng without going to "harder"
bushings with their coincident harsher
ride, the stresses of which will affect
front end component life.

I have the foregoing set-up myself with
the exception of "offset" upper Nylatron
bushings for a -.05 degree negative camber. Unlike Poly (not sure about
Delrin), these do not end up "squeaking"
and while others will tell you these are
not recommended for the road (?), they
have been no problem on my BE since
installed about two years ago.

The heavy 3/4 bar will "stabilize" handling
to the extent of initial understeer but, this
can be "taken out" by varying the balance
between front and rear tire pressures to
the extent of "neutral" handling or "over-
steer" to the extent you feel best suits
your driving style and comfort.
